realizing more that I'm preferring one large screen at my desk than having a dual screen setup.
the other screen is just blasting light that I rarely look at.
@jalcine The trick is to escalate to *triple* screens, I did at work and I use two of them and the third is the redundant one ;)
In all seriousness, I do think one single larger screen is probably the ideal if large enough, although I also like a different-orientation setup and that's how the two I generally use at work are (ie. one is in landscape, one is rotated so it works great for reading or writing long texts, like source files; Kate often stays glued there).
