To start off day 2 of the summit, here's a glimpse of all of the attendees this year!

indieweb.org/2018#Photos

I'm going to be hacking on a particular project today!

For the sake of ease of access, it'll be on github.com/jalcine/plug-indiea for now, but I aim to move it to git.jacky.wtf/indieweb/ in the near future when I get indieauth support in gitea going

Alright, so, I'm in the track for the building blocks of the IndieWeb.

@t@twitter.com is taking us through some things we can do to keep us chatting in silos but still _owning_ our responses.

The hardest thing for me to do is to continue using Jekyll. I want to move _a_ lot of posts and what not and Jekyll can't handle what I need for it.

Was chatting with @schmarty@twitter.com just now about this and I think I might personally look into making either a bridge to build and push changes to a Git repository.

That would _really_ suck. However, it looks like that there might be another option! I don't run my Jekyll site by running `jekyll serve` but if I did, one could use jekyll.github.io/jekyll-admin/ to push changes to the system.

Chris Aldrich is out here with his new post type to handle itches!

Jonathon // cleverdevil.io just unveiled indiepaper.cleverdevil.io that works as a IndieWeb-powered Instapaper.

Using tools like Aperture and Together will help you use this!

We got a patch for perkeep // perkeep.org/ that allows for more simpler static-site generation.

Ryan starts his demo by giving props to the organizers. Truly needed since everything is just moving!

Ryan bridging services like NewsBlur into platforms like Together. This pulls in silo platform feeds in conjunction to our readers.

Lily got changes to show more check-in info and weather on her site.

Gregor is showing off IndieBookClub // indidebookclub.biz - similar to Goodreads and/or @reading@twitter.com

Also highlighting the creation of the IndieWeb Web ring!

Nolan is showing a pre-packaged version of Wordpress that's IndieWeb-forward designed for small devices.

Once it's online, it's available and ready to be IndieWeb-friendly.

Nolan also added a IndieWeb-friendly theme so that it's less coding for you!

Malcolm here is demoing his home-grown authorization endpoint on unicyclic.com/

Manton is up and shows how you post from IndieBookClub to micro.blog.

Also micro.blog is an IndieAuth PROVIDER!

Grant's up with more extensions to his site's themeing options and a little easter egg - _RAINBOW MODE_ lol

Grant also made a site that shows examples of MicroFormats 2 JSON and HTML for the page as well. Helpful if you wanna test readers or MicroPub clients.

Jim Pick is out here demoing a tool on @glitch@twitter.com that lets you automatically make IndieWeb sites on IPFS! Really nifty.

Sebastian is demoing his real-time actions (namely location) initially using Foursquare's Swarm but moved to OwnTracks so it's a lot easier!

AJ's up and ported over the standards of IndieWeb to a friendly page (soon to be available on the main site).

ANDD he made some improvements to lazymention, a service for static sites to send out WebMentions (trust me - this is a blessing of a service)

There's new UX for handling job information too!

We got Jack // jackjamieson.net/ up with a new "read" post on his site by way of IndieBookClub // indiebookclub.biz

Marty // @schmarty@twitter.com is up and thinks DNS is a thing of the PAST!

Also is on the IndieWeb WEB RING!

We got a demo of sending WebMentions over the DAT protocol.

So it's ... DATMENTION lol

We got a live demo of someone getting MicroPub via Quill to send posts on their site!

jackyalciné ✈ JFK 😊 @jalcine

We got a talk-through from Lovi of how a Gen 4 got themselves to make a Indie RSVP for this year's summit!

All done with BeaverBuilder!

· Web · 0 · 0

And now David // david.shanske.com/ is speaking on Vouch, the tooling mentioned from the other day to help with moderation of your WebMentions!

He got whitelists working for Wordpress + Vouch.

Nate Angell is showing how he's received his first WebMention from Chris Aldrich!

Aaron // @aaronpk@twitter.com is demoing / talking about indielogin.com

And the power of `?:`!

We also got two new IndieAuth servers!

indieauth.net and Dobrado as well as Known!!!

Tom Brown set up Goodreads <-> IndieAuth login support!

Thanks for tuning in and/or coming!

I'll have a condensed re-cap post soon with alllll of the links, toot/tweet threads and what not.

Thanks for joining.
