One of my favorite acting performances is Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over... I don’t know if that’s a widely held opinion, but it blew my mind! Great actors are in it, even when the focus isn’t on them. Im trying to learn more by rewatching things and checking out the performances on the margins.

I never watched Inhumans. I could be wrong, but I feel like they didn't do a good enough job promoting it, because I forgot all about it. Also, if someone had told me that Iwan Rheon was in it, I wouldn't have forgotten about it. Also Legion has been boring, so I'm behind on that.

I'm torn between watching the latest season of Agents of Shield, the new season of Marcella and rewatching Battlestar Galactica. It's been a nerdy weekend.

Is there a...magical fucking trick to memorizing chords and their chord names? I stayed up til 3 am, looking at chords. It's just soooo much!

A lot of chords are literally, exactly the same! (I’m looking at you, diminished chords!)

It took me an episode of supernatural to detangle my hair. An hour of shuffled songs to blow dry it, and now it'll take me another episode of supernatural to run my flat iron through it. One day, perhaps I'll be able to pay someone else to do it. But that'll be a long way away because student loans, health & dental care aren't cheap.

There's been a lot of talk about nice guys. And I have to say, I've never been more hurt in my life than by men who claim to be nice guys. One of which told me, within a couple of minutes of knowing him, that he was a nice guy. I didn't know then, that a guy who says he's a nice guy is more than likely a fucking asshole. I know that now. Actual nice guys allow their actions to speak for them.

With that being said, my take away is that I have to trust myself. I don't have to have a reason that makes sense to other people. If my gut says don't trust you, I don't trust you. If my gut says, you're not safe, you're not safe. I'm usually not wrong about these things.

I am not even a little surprised by today's news. If anything, it only serves as an "I fucking knew it!" If anyone had asked me why I dislike him for the last few years, I would not have had an answer. It is insane to me that reading his writing just told me, "Nope. We don't like him."

I can't even tell you exactly what it was that I read, because it's been a few years. But I got a nasty feeling about him when I read it, and I haven't listened to (m)any(?) episodes since. I've watched a few after-shows of Walking Dead, all the while finding him super annoying.

I'm pretty sure the first podcast I listened to was a Nerdist one. It's what got me into podcasts (I still only listen to them occasionally). I thought the podcast was cool and everything. Long story short - I had a somewhat good opinion of Chris...until I read his book.
